Konrad Nelson Donation

At age nine, Konrad began piano lessons, and at fourteen he turned to the harp. Konrad studied with Catherine Gotthoffer at the California Institute of the Arts, and in 1980 enrolled at the Curtis Institute where he studied with Marilyn Costello. He also studied with Mildred Dilling and participated in her masterclasses at the University of California.

Konrad Nelson was the principal harpist for the Utah Symphony from 1987-1998, during which he made twenty-five concerto appearances. Konrad also most recently served as harp instructor at Utah Valley State College.
